Abaqus Wear Analysis without knowledge of Abaus and UMESHMOTION
This tutorial presents the graphical user interface of the existing wear algorithm. It requires the user to input essential variables, including the wear coefficient (α), wear fraction, the applicable wear equation, the total number of updates, and the scaling factor. Abaqus Wear Simulation Plugin is a platform that enables users one single click to do all requirements for Abaqus Wear Analysis (Abaqus Archard Wear). Therefore, the user is required to provide wear parameters only. Hence, users one-click produce Abaqus model, UMESHMOTION subroutine, run the simulation and extract results without any knowledge of Abaus and UMESHMOTION. In addition to the plugin application, the details of Abaqus model and UMESHMOTION subroutine are explained through tutorial videos to make it possible to modify the plugin.
